What is Gopher Games?

Gopher Games is a new UK based game development studio focused on bringing the world of Critters to a larger audience.

We want to make our games as immersive as possible, creating worlds that are simply fun to be in. Gopher Games will tell great stories, create worlds with depth, and take you on whimsical adventures rife with British ridiculousness.

Our first title is Project Bramble. A rich, story-first role playing game (RPG) for PC and consoles.

This is where the bulk of the ~3.3 billion player gaming market plays, and where we believe our world can shine.

This is not an over scoped metaverse MMO, or a generic mobile game hacked together from a wishful, but inexperienced team. This is a real game with heart, that will be built over as many years as it takes to make something great. It is ambitious, but achievable.

There will be no financial interactions of any kind in the game. We do not believe in deceptive gotcha mechanics interrupting the player experience.

We are also not outsourcing any development or art. We are building this all in-house, starting the studio from the ground up. We're building with the heart, passion, and care that only a full time committed team can.

The gaming industry is at an inflection point where indie games by small tight teams full of soul and passion are far outperforming traditional AAA (large corporate). We are excited to position ourselves as an ambitious new indie studio with the Critters community at our heart.
