Rarity
Where things get interesting!
Critter cards are designed to be highly collectable and tradeable.
The rarity system is simple at a glance, but has a lot of depth for those who look!
Critter Supplies
The first element to consider is the rarity of the type of critter.

Rarity Tiers
Based on the type of critter (above) and its traits, there are five tiers of rarity:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
This is shown by the colour of the critter icon on the card and the detail level of the background. It is also in its metadata.

DO THREE IN A ROW, AS WE DO FOR CONDITIONS. IN ASPERITE. RARE, EPIC, LEGENDARY. 16X ORIGINAL 88X128PX LOOKS BEST. NO, YOU CAN UPLOAD AS SINGLE CARDS, UPSCALED 16X (WHICH HARRYS EXPORT IS), THEN IN GITBOOK DRAG NEXT TO EACHOTHER TO PUT ON ONE LINE. LIKE PACK ART IN PRESS KIT.
Card Conditions
The final layer of rarity, is the condition of the card.
The three standard conditions are: tattered, used, and pristine.
4100 (40%) cards are tattered
3075 (30%) cards are used
2050 (20%) cards are pristine

CHANGE TO CONDITIONS... IN ASPERITE, THREE BY THREE, 16X.
There are also two special, ultra rare conditions:
820 (8%) of cards are cursed.
205 (2%) of cards are blessed.

SAMPLE OF EACH SIDE BY SIDE HERE. SAME SIZE AS ABOVE.
So rarity has two layers: the rarity tier (like epic) and the card condition (like pristine). For a full supply breakdown for easy comparison, check below 👇

Examples
Overall rarity is determined by the total supply of the card.
For example, there are 20 tattered legendary deer, and 40 cursed uncommon deer. So in this case, the tattered legendary is more rare.
Likewise, there are 8 epic cursed foxes, and 12 uncommon blessed foxes, so the epic cursed fox is rarer.
Grading
Optionally, you can get your card graded. This will reveal the exact placement of your card in the overall collection. #1 being the rarest in the collection, and #10250 the least rare.
This will cost 3 ADA, and will be shown in the cards metadata permanently, potentially increasing its value.
