Our first goal with Critters is to provide an unforgettable NFT experience on Cardano. GGMC's bespoke new Kingdom Workshop made a project of this scale possible.
This starts with a one-of-a kind minting experience never seen before in NFTs.
You will be able to mint card packs. With your minted pack, you will be able to:
Open the pack to reveal the Critter Cards inside.
Sell or trade the unopened pack itself on the open market.
Hold the unopened pack, potentially selling or opening later.
This is a proud Cardano first innovation. It is NFTs inside NFTs! The experience will be very fun and unique, which is exactly the excitement Cardano needs.
As the studio matures with developments and our audience grows, it will be very interesting to see the dynamics around the cards and unopened packs that started it all. It is a bit like early Pokémon, except everything verifiable on chain - no fakes!
This intersection of web3 community and real world products can be impactful. A key inspiration for us has been Pudgy Penguins and their brilliance in releasing a real world toy in Walmart.
Like Pudgy Penguins, we believe real products like games can be a tasteful, scalable route to onboard from outside this ecosystem over the long term.
